Our Home Base is the town of Aleppo, in Northern Syria.

The Business Model we have chosen for the House of Lentils is that of an Export House .

We operate at the end of the supply chain for Syrian Lentils , a chain that comprises : Farmers , Middlemen , Processors , Wholesalers , Retailers ( domestic markets ) and Merchants ( Export Markets ).

As an Export House, we manage the activities normally undertaken by Middlemen/ Processors / Wholesalers and Merchants, all under one roof.

Our business is to manage the interfaces across the supply chain and add value – in terms of Quality and Cost Effectiveness – at each stage of the supply chain of the Syrian Lentils: procurement of raw material, warehousing, processing of raw material into a finished product ( up to customer's specafications ), storing and forwarding to Export Markets.

We, at the House of Lentils, focus our attention on our core business activities: Procurement of raw material and Marketing / Merchandising of finished products solely for Export Markets.

We outsource the warehousing /processing /storing activities to Aleppo-based Processors with state-of-the -art Processing Plants for Pulses and Cereals.

It’s their business to undertake the necessary cleaning, sieving, splitting, color sorting, packaging and handling activities required for delivery of finished products.
It’s our business to manage and control this crucial outsourced activity, through a comprehensive set of mutually compatible incentives and contractual obligations.

As a result of this original set-up, we devote our energy to serve your business demands … if they take the shape and color of Lentils…
